Further Information

For beginners and social players, a friendly club. The founder member, Keith Thompson, wrote: "On the continent it is not unusual to see people playing Chess inside and outside cafes and bars. With that in mind we are out to make Bewdley a Chess Friendly Town. We would like all local pubs and coffee houses to have a chess set available for anyone wanting a game." The club usually runs an annual summer tournament in aid of local charities.

Parking in High Street is only 50p an hour (DY12 2FB)

Free in Sandstone Rd etc if you don't mind the 10 to 15 walk along the river. We usually have more juniors during school holidays.

Coaching available if required. Tea and Coffee served for a small donation
