  Result 3 - 2 Played 10 May 2007
Played at neutral venue Greenlands Social Club, Longbridge, Birmingham. Source: Ray Collett and Worcester News. In the final, Worcester started badly losing quickly on board five. Pat Greenow's game was also lost in a king-side attack to Headless Cross captain Mark Hore. At this stage, Worcester were in trouble on top board and board 3. Andrew Farthing was first to score for city continuing his good form in his debut season for the club. Roger Yates was lucky. In a minor piece ending and he somehow stopped his opponents' connected passed pawns from queening. On board 1, Collett equalised but there looked little chance of a win until Jason Cole allowed Collett's queen to penetrate his defences in time trouble. With seconds left, Ray Collett wrapped up the game with mate. Reported by Worcester News
