Internal tournaments: The chess club is free to join, but you will need to be a member of the English ChessFederation for league play. Club Championship; Kidderminster Shuttle Shield Knockout Competition (open to residents of Kidderminster whether club members or not) and Controller is Tim Yates; Quickplay Championship; Lightning Tournament ; Handicap Tournament; President's Cup; Graham Bunn Memorial Tropy.

New members of any standard are always welcome. There are usually players at the club available for friendly games and to provide coaching for the less experienced player, if requested. Juniors are always welcome.
