Fifth congress 2013

This year, the congress was held to raise funds for the nominated charity Leukaemia CARE (Registered Charity No. 259483). The organisers are delighted to announce that the final accounts are now in and can report the congress raised £740 for the charity. Many thanks to all of the players, many of whom generously added a donation alongside their entry fee. Confirmation of the final donation will be published on this website. The fifth congress had over a hundred entrants, slightly down on last year's figure. Further pictures of players are on Brendan O'Gorman's Worcester gallery.

The event organised by Andrew Farthing and expertly controlled by Andrew Moore (also congress co-organiser), Alan and Ann Ruffle, Kevin Markey and Katie Smith. I am sure that I speak for all of the players in thanking the control team for giving up their time on a summer weekend to allow the congress to run smoothly. The bookstall and equipment was again provided by CCF Mindgames.
