30 Apr. Halesowen are Division 2 champions - by a whisker from South Birmingham
17 Apr. Warley Quinborne League champions!
11 Mar. It looks like South Birmingham are Division 3 Champs after Walsall draw with Mercia

26 Mar. Halesowen players score at Birmingham rapidplay. Windsor Peck shared first prize in the Minor Tournament and Nick Arkell shared second place in the Open of the Birmingham Rapidplay. Simon Smith (Warley Quinborne) shared first place in the Major.

12 Jan. In the first DDCL match of the new year, South Birmingham extend their lead in Division 3.

31 Dec. At the end of the year, Warley Quinborne lead Division 1, while South Birmingham teams lead Divisions 2 and 3.

4 Sep. Dates for fixtures published. Division 3 are the best organised with dates for all fixtures published. Many dates for fixtures in Divisions 1 and 2 are 'TBA'. According to the Div 2 list, the first match of the season has already been played, but we have to await information about the result.

17 Aug. League Annual Meeting. All officers were re-elected, but David Brelsford said he was planning to move from the area and the league would need a new president next year. It was agreed that maximum grades would be unchanged from last year: Div 1 maximum 175; Div 2 maximum 145; Div 3 maximum 115. The meeting agreed that grades at the start of the season would be apply throughout the league season. Members agreed that in Division 1 teams would play a double round home and away against each other team. The John Raybould trophy for best junior League player in 2015-6 was awarded to Finlay Bowcott-Terry (Stourbridge). There was a discussion about time controls in league matches and members will discuss whether to adopt incremental time controls next year.
