Team Knock out tournament

Malvern win 2007-8 Knock-Out Cup - In a match played 24 September 2008, Malvern scored a full house to take the title against the second division Kidderminster Pawns. To see the draw and other results visit the 2007-8 Team Knock Out page.

President Wins Bennett Cup President Maurice Bissell (Kidderminster), one of the Worcestershire's top players took top prize in the Bennett Cup at the first attempt. The much lower graded, Giles Stanton (Redditch) overcame John Wrench (Kidderminster) and looked to provide a serious challenge, but Giles succumbed in the finals.
