Introducing the Team

Roger Yates is the captain and the Pawns team plays in Division 2 of the Worcester & District League. The team plays one match against six other teams: Droitwich, Greenlands, Kidderminster Pawns, Kidderminster Rooks, Mercia, Redditch B, and Stourbridge B. Matches are over 4 boards. 2017-8 news

The team completed its fixtures early in January ending with 8 match points from a possible 12. Other teams are sure to overtake the Pawns as they complete their fixtures but Captain Roger Yates should take pride from his teams return to form after a poor 2015-6 season.
